Biography

Jeffrey A. Becker, M.D., is a cardiologist at Children’s National Hospital. In previous roles, he has served as both the Medical Director and Program Director for Outpatient Cardiology. Before joining Children's in 2008, he served as Assistant Chief of Pediatrics and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, retiring as an Army Colonel.

Dr. Becker is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology and a member of the North American Society for Cardiac Imaging.

He received his doctorate of medicine from the George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., and his fellowship training in cardiology at Children's National. His primary interests include: non-invasive cardiac imaging and outpatient cardiology.
