Hemalatha Srinivasalu, M.D., is an attending physician at the Division of Rheumatology at Children’s National. She specializes in managing autoimmune and autoinflammatory disorders such as lupus, juvenile arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis and periodic fever syndromes. Her research interests include Juvenile Spondyloarthritis, PFAPA and Sjogren’s syndrome.
Dr. Srinivasalu has presented her work at various national and international conferences. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance. She has served as a reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Srinivasalu is the Program Director of the Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship. She is USSONAR-certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound and is involved in incorporating musculoskeletal ultrasound in fellowship curriculum.
