Finza Latif, M.D., is the director of the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service at Children's National Health System and assistant professor of psychiatry at the George Washington University. Dr. Latif completed a residency in general psychiatry at the University of Texas and specialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
She is board-certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She also has additional training in family-based treatment for adolescent anorexia nervosa. Dr. Latif believes in early intervention and treatment to prevent long-term morbidity and has an interest in treating all eating behavior disorders. She has spoken in the media regarding treatment of eating disorders and has also served as an expert witness regarding eating disorders. Dr. Latif's research interests include treatment of binge eating disorder.
