Emily Niu, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports. She completed her orthopaedics residency training at Stanford University Medical Center and her fellowship in pediatric sports surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Her clinical and research interests include sports- related injuries in children and adolescents such as: ACL tears, shoulder labrum tears and instability, hip labrum tears and femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), and osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) of the knee, elbow, and ankle. Her surgical expertise includes physeal sparing ACL reconstruction, hip arthroscopy and cartilage restoration.
