Biography

Elizabeth Sherwin, M.D., is a cardiologist and interventional electrophysiologist with a special interest in inherited arrhythmia evaluation and management. Prior to joining Children's National Heart Institute, Dr. Sherwin was an attending pediatric electrophysiologist at British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver, in the British Columbia province of Canada, where she was the Director of Electrophysiology.

Originally from Virginia, Dr. Sherwin received her medical degree from Medical College of Virginia and completed the combined Boston Children's and Boston University pediatrics residency. Dr. Sherwin then completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Boston Children's as well as an advanced electrophysiology fellowship.
