Cristiano Santostefano, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children's National Hospital. He is an attending psychologist and training director of the Child Development Program.
Dr. Santostefano specializes in infant and toddler development, early childhood mental health and trauma. Dr. Santostefano, who previously trained in the Child Development Program from 2012-13, returned to Children’s National in 2017. He provides developmental and diagnostic assessments, child-parent therapy, as well as instruction and supervision of residents and doctoral students. He is a certified therapist in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, a rostered therapist in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
