Cliff Galanis, M.D., received a B.A. (with Honors) from Princeton University, and a medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. He completed both a Pediatric Residency and Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Children’s National Hospital, and is board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. After working with a large pediatric group on Capitol Hill for several years, “Dr. Cliff” founded the Pediatric & Adolescent Center in 2000, which became part of Children’s National Pediatricians & Associates (CNPA) in 2014. He is the lead physician of the Bowie practice, and serves on the Board of Directors of CNPA too.
A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Dr. Cliff enjoys water sports and travelling. He is an avid reader, and especially loves history and politics. Dr. Cliff is a former high school chemistry teacher, and he has mentored/tutored a number of teenagers for many years, and continues to volunteer in that capacity.
