Casey Lawless, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. She has expertise in pediatric psychology and provides consultation, evaluation and treatment services through the Cystic Fibrosis, Severe Asthma, and Pulmonary Behavioral Medicine programs.

Dr. Lawless' research interests broadly include individual, family and provider coping, health behaviors and well-being. She is also involved in several program development and quality improvement initiatives within the division.

Dr. Lawless earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida, where her research focused on interrelationships between health behaviors (i.e. sleep, nutrition, physical activity) and pulmonary conditions. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at Children's Mercy Kansas City and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pulmonary Behavioral Medicine at Children's National.
