About the Provider
Brian Reilly, MD, is co-director of the Cochlear Implant Program at Children’s National Hospital. He is an active clinical researcher with specialized interests in hearing loss, cochlear implants, otitis media, obstructive sleep apnea and chronic tonsillitis.
Dr. Reilly is a professor of otolaryngology and pediatrics and is board certified in complex pediatric otolaryngology. He completed his fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School) in 2010.
Dr. Reilly, a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, has won several research awards and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the appointed physician to Maryland’s State Hearing Advisory Committee. He also serves on the Section Executive Committee of Otolaryngology for American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). In addition, he served as a physician member to the Maryland Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (MD EHDI) Program Office for Genetics and People with Special Health Care Needs. Dr. Reilly is currently DC chapter champion for hearing loss/EHDI, and working in D.C., to improve hearing screening for neonates and premature infants.
