When Anna Sprunger, PA-C, was growing up in the Republic of Georgia in a family of physicians, she developed a strong desire to study medicine in her early years. After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007 with a master's degree in physician assistant studies, Anna practiced as an interventional radiology physician assistant. She gained skills in ultrasound and fluoroscopy–guided procedures. In 2009, she joined the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Anna is an Allied Health Member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and she was a recipient of their travel scholarship. She lives in Germantown, Md., with her husband and four young children. They enjoy playing, learning and cooking together.
