DC I-Corps

Sheikh Zayed Institute entrepreneurs have been accepted into the DC I-Corps Program and benefited from a curriculum taught by successful technology entrepreneurs. Each participating team talks to a minimum of one hundred customers, partners, competitors and other market stakeholders. DC I-Corps is a National Science Foundation-funded program designed to foster, grow and nurture an innovation ecosystem in the mid-Atlantic region with a strong focus on the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

The program is jointly run by the University of Maryland, George Washington University, Virginia Tech and Johns Hopkins University. It provides real-world, hands-on training on how to successfully incorporate innovations into successful projects. The program's ultimate goal is to help participants create a new venture or land a licensing opportunity.
