Adeline (Wei Li) Koay, MBBS, MSc, completed a pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She received a medical degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and a Masters in Science (Bacteriology) from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Koay’s clinical expertise and interests focus on the general pediatric infectious diseases and the care of children and adolescents with HIV. Her research focuses on the relationship between systemic inflammation and the gut microbiome in infections, specifically in people with HIV.
