Originally from India, Rosemary Thomas-Mohtat, M.D., grew up in New York City, completing her education through medical school there. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She then went on to complete a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, with publications in the genetics of children with chronic kidney disease. She changed paths and completed a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Children's National Hospital, with an additional year dedicated to Point of Care Ultrasound.
