Biography

Rachel Kolsky, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children’s National Hospital.

She specializes in early childhood behavioral health including the diagnosis and treatment of disruptive behavior and anxiety disorders. She is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and has clinical expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and parent management training.

Dr. Kolsky graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in human development. She received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The George Washington University where her research focused on parenting and child behavior outcomes among diverse families. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a focus on integrated behavioral health and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in child clinical psychology at Children’s National. Dr. Kolsky’s research interests include early identification and intervention for developmental disorders as well as expanding access to quality behavioral healthcare for children and families.
