Ololade 'Lola' Okito, M.D., earned a medical degree in 2012 from Rutgers University–New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Okito completed pediatric residency training and chief residency in 2016 at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City Health and Hospitals–Jacobi Medical Center. She was then accepted into the neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at Children's National Hospital and completed her training in 2019.
Dr. Okito is now an attending physician in the Children's National Division of Neonatology and an affiliate faculty member of the Child Health Advocacy Institute. Her clinical, research and advocacy interests include the psychosocial and socioeconomic factors that impact neonatal health outcomes.
