Keyur Desai, M.D., CAQSM, is a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Chicago (North Shore), and his fellowship at University Hospitals/Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.
As a non-operative sports medicine physician, Dr. Desai is trained to care for the athlete as a whole, from sports-related concussions, female athletes and stress fractures, to diagnosis and management of all the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons of the body. Dr. Desai is also specially trained in ultrasound-guided procedures and diagnostic scans.
Prior to his time at Children's National Hospital, Dr. Desai has been involved in the care of high school teams, NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and professional sports teams and athletes.
Dr. Desai's goal is to get you back to sports in a healthy, safe and time-sensitive fashion!
