Deborah Potvin, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist who joined Children's National Hospital in 2016. Dr. Potvin has a focus on neuropsychological assessment for children with ASD, early diagnosis of ASD, and preschool assessment. After graduating from Yale University with degrees in astronomy and history of science, Dr. Potvin completed her Masters of Education in elementary education and literacy, while working as a reading specialist.
She received her doctoral degree in school psychology from the University of Texas and completed her APA-accredited internship in school psychology and neuropsychology at the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Potvin completed her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Children’s National Medical Center and worked at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
