Andrea Badillo, M.D., specializes in pediatric surgery with a special interest in fetal diagnosis and prenatal counseling. She attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, as an undergraduate and moved north to Washington, D.C., to complete medical school and her residency at George Washington University. Dr. Badillo then spent three years researching at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) during a general surgery residency, before completing a pediatric surgery fellowship at CHOP.
Dr. Badillo is associate professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has received a number of research awards and has been a member of the Alpha Omega National Honor Society since 2000. She also spends time mentoring medical students.
