Alyssa Abo, M.D., joined the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in June 2013. After medical school in Israel, Alyssa completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, followed by fellowships in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children's Hospital, and emergency ultrasound at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Abo is a leader in the field of pediatric emergency ultrasound and enjoys teaching both nationally and internationally. Her research interests include bedside ultrasound and its applications in the pediatric emergency department.
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as traveling and training for triathlons.
