Student innovator shares his experience building a mobile app for pediatric cardiology
Hamad Al-Hazami, Sheikh Zayed Institute 2015 Student Innovator and senior computer engineering major at Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research in the United Arab Emirates, talks about designing a mobile app to help cardiologists determine whether an unborn baby's heart is growing at a normal rate.
The Sheikh Zayed Institute Student Innovator Summer Program offers hands-on research experiences, real-world clinical observations, and innovation management workshops to graduate, medical, undergraduate, and advanced high school students. Students are paired with mentors and have the opportunity to work alongside physicians, biomedical engineers, and other medical professionals during the intensive eight-week program.
