Pediatrics and public health in a changing healthcare system

Healthcare is moving past “fee for service” payment to a wide range of different financial models. Supporters say that new incentives are encouraging more prevention and better outcomes. Skeptics worry that the most vulnerable could be left behind. All agree healthcare is in transition. Using multiple examples and interactive dialogue, this lecture will explore what these changes mean for collaboration between clinical medicine and public health for the health of children.
