First Lady Michelle Obama visited patients and families at Children’s National today. Accompanied by first dogs, Bo and Sunny, she read the holiday story ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,’ answered questions from children in the Main Atrium, and toured the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The tradition of holiday visits from the First Lady dates back to Bess Truman.
