We all have feelings and sometimes we experience more than one at the same time, such as pride and fear or joy and sadness. The book “Double Dip Feelings: Stories to Help Children Understand Emotions,” by Barbara S. Cain and Anne Patterson, and the corresponding art directive, aim to help kids understand conflicting feelings and offers a creative tool for exploring them.
