Northern Virginia Magazine names 44 Children’s National physicians “Top Doctors”

January 25, 2018

WASHINGTON – The annual “Top Doctors” list from Northern Virginia Magazine features 44 Children’s National Health System care providers across 15 specialties. The prestigious list includes physicians from many of Children’s nationally-ranked programs, including Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Neonatology, Orthopedics and Urology.

“This recognition highlights our physicians’ tireless dedication to excellence when it comes to caring for kids and their families,” says Children’s National President and CEO Kurt Newman, M.D. “These remarkable care givers all share a common goal to help kids grow up stronger. Keeping this idea as the focus of their work helps make the care they provide nothing short of exceptional.”

Nominations for Northern Virginia Magazine’s list of “Top Doctors” are generated by a peer survey and panels from eight local hospitals. Each panel nominated the doctors based on internal evaluations, patient reviews, patient access, training and quality of records. This year’s recognized physicians from Children’s National include:
