The Washington Business Journal covered the enhanced Parental Leave Benefit packaged that rolled out at Children's National. Parental leave benefits are somewhat rare for healthcare organizations with just over one in 10 offering paid maternity and paternity leave. Carol Ann Parker, Director of Compensation and Benefits, says, "there's a lot of evidence this supports retention and work productivity."
