Health.com Covers Puberty Study Led by Children's Expert

A new study published in Pediatrics, led by Paul Kaplowitz, MD, PhD, Center for Hospital-Based Specialties, found that early sexual development doesn't necessarily require special hormone-related evaluation. Dr. Kaplowitz said, "the good news is that most kids with some early signs of puberty just have a variant of normal growth," and that of the children evaluated, only a small percentage "have true precocious puberty."
