A new study shows that mothers also benefit from skin-to-skin contact with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. Natalia Isaza, MD, FAAP, Center for Hospital-Based Specialties, spoke with Fit Pregnancy about the benefits for moms, and the ways in which touch can reduce their stress levels.
