Fairfax Times Covers Teen Selected for the 2015 Children's Hospital Photo Exhibit

14-year-old Amelia Schmidt is currently in remission after a long battle with brain tumors and multiple surgeries. This year, Amelia participated in the Race for Every Child for second year in a row. A photo of Amelia, taken at the finish line during last year's race, was selected to be included in a traveling collection for the 2015 Children's Hospital Photo Exhibit. Haneen Shalabi, MD, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, discussed pediatric cancer and Amelia's diagnosis.
