Physician liaison team back in action

Our physician liaisons are reentering the field this summer and look forward to seeing you again in-person. Our team is actively scheduling meetings and lunch sessions for practices with Children's National specialists via request. Please reach out to your liaison to schedule an in-person meeting for your practice. As always, your liaison is available to answer questions and assist with referrals.

Specialized headache program offers acute care

Although headaches are common in children, recurrent or frequent headaches that interfere with daily life are a concern. The Headache Program is a specialized clinic that evaluates and treats more than 2,000 patients annually. The clinic helps children and adolescents with chronic, debilitating head pain, headaches and migraines. We work to identify the cause and find an effective way to help children manage their headaches. View our referral guides for information on evaluating and managing patients with headaches and learn when and how to refer a patient to Children’s National.
