Continuing Education and Conferences
The Office of Continuing Medical Education provides a continuing learning process that helps physicians and other pediatric health care professionals enhance their practice of medicine and improve health care outcomes.
Our office sponsors a variety of conferences and Hospital Grand Rounds. Many conferences focus on specific pediatric topics that are of interest to pediatricians, family practitioners, specialists and other health professionals.
Register to attend Children’s National conferences and traineeships throughout the year.
We offer continuing education programs for nurses throughout the year. These on-site, off-site and online programs enhance professional development in nursing practice, education, administration, and research, all of which positively impact patient care outcomes and patient safety.
Join Children’s National Hospital faculty and staff in engaging lectures and professional development workshops. Healthcare providers and professionals from the D.C. area and beyond are invited to join these educational programs remotely or in-person. Please reach out to program contacts for additional details.
Hospital Grand Rounds are open to physicians, nurses, medical trainees, physician assistants, social workers, health care administrators, allied health professionals, volunteers and students in the Children's National community and the greater Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
