Shana Ratcliff received her Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, with minors in Developmental Science and Education Intervention Science, and completed her pre-doctoral internship at West Virginia State University Medicine, Eastern Division. In the Early Childhood Behavioral Health Program, Dr. Ratcliff will continue her clinical training in evidence-based practices for behavioral concerns, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms in young children. She will also continue her training in research and advocacy through the Child Health Advocacy Institute's Community Mental Health CORE (Collaboration, Outreach, Research, Equity). Her clinical interests include early childhood mental health and perinatal mental health. Her research interests include the development of emotional competence, self-regulation, and school readiness skills in early childhood as well as prevention/intervention science in community-based settings.
