The Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus is located on a nearly 12‐acre portion of the former, historic Walter Reed Army Medical Center and is home to three facilities and a parking garage, located in a park‐like setting.

Facilities

Children’s National Research Institute

This 332,000-square-foot building houses state‐of‐the‐art research labs and space for pediatric device development. Through our partnership with Johnson & Johnson’s JLABS, space is provided to start‐up companies pursuing complementary efforts.

Conference Theater

The 299‐seat auditorium is used for educational programs, innovation summits, research and medical symposiums and community gatherings. Future plans include adding meeting breakout space to support a wider array of conference needs.

The Primary Care and Rare Disease Institute Building

This location provides comprehensive, primary care for children and adolescents including services such as well‐child visits, school physicals, treatment of minor illness and injury and coordinated care for children with chronic health needs.

Parking Garage

We provide parking on-site, with an ADA-compliant, 975-space parking garage featuring LED lighting.
