Jacqueline Sanz, Ph.D., is a board-certified neuropsychologist and a member of the Division of Neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Sanz also co-directs the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Program (or CANDO Program), which monitors the development of children with congenital heart disease. She is actively involved in research, with a particular interest in risk factors for cognitive and behavioral problems in children with congenital heart disease, and how these influence quality of life.
