  • Rachael Batabyal, M.D. is an investigator in the Center for Genetic Medicine of the Children’s National Research Institute. She is an assistant professor of Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Genomics & Precision Medicine, on the Tenure Track, at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  

    She received her M.D. from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and residency training in Pediatrics at New York Presbyterian-Komansky Children’s Hospital. This was followed by clinical fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children’s National and remained on faculty after completion of her fellowship.  Rachael’s work focuses on Obesity related disease throughout the lifespan.
