Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical school and hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O. degree.
Upon completion of the combined program, trainees will qualify for board certification in Pediatrics and Child Neurology.
The combined Pediatrics & Child Neurology Program is highly competitive and typically accepts three candidates per year. Applicants should apply through ERAS in duplicate to the Pediatric Residency Program ("Pediatrics/Child Neurology/five-year Track") and to the Child Neurology department.
Competitive candidates will be invited to interview at Children's National over two days to allow for time to meet with both the Pediatrics and Child Neurology teams. A single rank list will be generated for selection through the NRMP.
