Psychology Opportunities
Children’s National Hospital offers comprehensive internship and externship programs in Child Life Services, neuropsychology, and psychology. Our internship and externship programs are intensive, clinically based programs that offer students hands on experience delivering the highest quality of care designed with kids in mind.
This is an advanced assessment externship in the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology at Children’s National. Learn more about the training opportunities available.
Graduate students in clinical psychology or school psychology may apply for unpaid externship training with the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Children’s National Hospital.
Postdoctoral fellowships are available through Psychology and Behavioral Health and are sponsored by individual faculty members.
Psychology and Behavioral Health offers practicum level training experiences in child clinical and pediatric psychology to students enrolled in doctoral programs in psychology.
The internship is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association, initially earning accreditation in 1970.
This position will provide focused experience in conducting research on the neuropsychological profiles and/or treatment of children with high-functioning autism.
