The goal of the program at Children's National is to expose medical students to academic pediatrics and the many educational opportunities our institution has to offer through a one-month rotation with a variety of experiences.
Children’s National Health System is the pediatric partner for the George Washington University Medical School (GWUMS) in Washington, D.C. We offer over 30 electives in a wide variety of disciplines including four Acting Internships (Sub-Internships). International students may inquire about electives through our Office of International Medicine Programs. We have exchange contracts and/or affiliation agreements with a limited number of international Medical Schools. Please read on for contact information or to learn more.
Children’s National is the Pediatric Department for the George Washington and Howard University Medical Schools.
