The CTSI-CN is a partnership between Children’s National Hospital and The George Washington University that offers unique resources in translating discovery to improved health.
In July 2010, Children’s National Hospital was awarded a prestigious Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) grant from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), to establish the Clinical and Translational Science Institute at Children’s National (CTSI-CN).
The CTSI-CN recognizes the outstanding strengths in clinical and translational research in our investigative community that includes Children’s National, the Children’s National Research Institute, the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, as well as diverse Schools and Programs at The George Washington University, our partner in this CTSA-funded program.
