Postdoctoral Fellow at University of California, Davis

Dr. Mansour has a wealth of experience in the analysis of whole genome sequencing data for rare risk alleles and in profiling transcriptomic data sets. Dr. Mansour completed an inter-disciplinary PhD on the fetal immune system and developmental genetics using animal models, cell culture assays and statistical, bioinformatic and computer science solutions. He contributes to this study through design of statistical approaches and methods, refinement of the sequencing data analysis pipeline and methods, with specific focus on developing candidate “Zika pathway” and “target” genes. Dr. Mansour will guide analysis of whole genome sequencing data for the detection of rare variants in these target genes.
