Juliana Jacangelo, MPH, is the coordinator for the First STEPS Project, which is a program that provides support to parents of young children newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She graduated from George Mason University with a degree in psychology and then received her master of public health from the University of Virginia. Her research interests include Type 1 diabetes and anxiety/depression.
In her spare time, Juliana enjoys running and spending time at the beach.
