Biography

Kristen Sgambat, Ph.D., has an interest researching effects of nutrition on health outcomes in children with chronic kidney disease, acute kidney disease, and kidney transplantation.  bone health and cardiovascular outcomes in children with chronic kidney disease and after kidney transplant, as well as effects of carnitine supplementation on cardiovascular function in children receiving hemodialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy.
