Ellen ‘Ellie’ Hamburger, MD, received a BA in Urban Studies and her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hamburger completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Health System in 1984. She cares for children from birth through adolescence with a particular interest in children with special needs and premature infants. She has been active in medical education throughout her career in the US and Africa, and is a graduate of the first Master Teacher class for clinician educators at George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Dr. Hamburger has been a senior partner with Children’s Pediatricians & Associates since 2002 and serves on the Board of CP&A. Dr. Hamburger has served as Medical Director for CPandA since 2016.
