The unstoppable Lataisia C. Jones, Ph.D.

Lataisia C. Jones, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow at Children’s National Hospital, uses experimental models to study the corpus callosum: a network of fibers centrally located in the middle of the brain that is responsible for transferring information from one lobe to the other. Jones now also serves as a role model for future scientists, connecting with middle school students in person, virtually and via a CBS network television show, “Mission Unstoppable.” Read about Jones' efforts to teach and diversify the ranks of science.
