The Sheikh Zayed Institute: Pushing the boundaries of innovation

Since its doors opened in 2011, the Sheikh Zayed Institute at Children’s National, in partnership with the UAE, has pushed the boundaries of innovation that make pediatric surgery more precise, less invasive, and pain free. The Sheikh Zayed Institute has more than 40 projects in development in the areas of pain management, immunology, bioengineering, and systems biology. We are grateful for the generous support of the government and people of the UAE, especially for our UAE medical and academic research collaborators.
