Physician leadership: Applying skills learned through the presidential leadership scholars program to the physician practice
Drs. Jarvis and Kotwal recently participated in the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program, a leadership program jointly offered by the bipartisan presidential centers of former Presidents George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, William J. Clinton, and Lyndon B. Johnson. The program brings together leaders from multiple sectors to learn leadership skills first-hand from these four presidencies with an aim to produce bold and principled leaders who are focused on solving society’s toughest challenges and creating measureable change. This talk will focus on leadership lessons learned within the program and will include specific take-home applications to leadership within the physician practice.
