Behavioral Economics (BE) is an interdisciplinary field that incorporates insights from psychology, economics, and marketing to enhance individual decision-making. Recently, BE has been highlighted in dozens of theoretical and empirical articles in prestigious health care journals. Attendees for this presentation will be able to identify specific BE strategies that may not only promote patient adherence to health care recommendations but also encourage clinicians to follow best practices.
