Being valued and supported: The key to sustaining our well-being
We have the most wonderful and challenging jobs imaginable; it is an incredible honor to have patients and their families trust us with their lives. For our careers to be sustainable we ourselves need our workplace culture to be supportive and trustworthy; we need our wellbeing to matter. It is therefore imperative that we develop programs and processes that explicitly support and value each other as individuals, team members and contributing members of our institutions. The talk will illustrate the “why” and some of the ways “how” to create a culture of trust.
