Located within Children's National Health System, outpatient centers provide increased access to expert, specialty care, from Children's National throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. The Howard County Outpatient Center, opening in fall 2017, is a brand new facility in the heart of the expanding Maple Lawn community.
Children's is a national leader in congenital heart disease imaging. The pediatric echocardiography laboratory performs approximately 14,000 studies annually.
