On December 7, First Lady Melania Trump visited patients and families at Children’s National. Mrs. Trump read the story “The Polar Express,” answered questions from children in the Main Atrium and toured the Center for Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine. The tradition of holiday visits from the First Lady dates back to Bess Truman.
