Debbie Lafond, M.D., Marian McEvilly, R.N., CPN, CCA, HTA, EEM-LCP and Conway Chair Scholars collaborated with child development teacher Jana Din and Children's National provider David Steinhorn, M.D., in leading participants in the March 19, 2019, session. The Conway Chair Conversations sessions are designed to engage as we develop research ideas and solve challenges that can confront taking that idea into a research study. Attendees are able to actively shape the ideas and influence their development.

Dr. Steinhorn and Ms. Din first presented this session during the 2019 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care in Orlando, Fla.
